Wines & Vines FestivalI’m so thrilled to tell you that this year I’ve been invited to sell my jams at the 4th Annual Wines & Vines Festival!  This two day event starting this Friday, May 29th, 6-10pm and again on Saturday, May 30th noon-10pm will be bringing you 17 wineries and their wares and will be held at McPherson Cellars on 1615 Texas Ave in Lubbock!   $20 for a one day pass or $30 for a two day pass, gets you up to 20 wine tasting tickets! And all proceeds will be donated to Lubbock Meals on Wheels.  It’s really a win/win any way you look at it, don’t you think?

On Saturday, there will be The Hub City Master Chef Competition, Triple J’s Brewers Tasting, live music, local food trucks and vendors featuring Texas specialty products {ahem… this is where Kelle B Jammin’ comes in!}!!! There will be samples for you to snack on and I’ll have all my jams available for purchase!  So come on out to support of this Shop Local, Live Local event!

To whet your appetite for this weekend’s festivities I’m going to share with you a delectable recipe my friend came up with about a year ago!  Hope to see you out there!

Plum Jalapeño Glazed Salmon

  1. Salt & pepper the salmon, or you can substitute chicken fajitas seasoning.
  2. Slice thin tabs of butter and lay out over the salmon.
  3. Spread a small or generous amount of jam on the salmon, whatever your preference.
  4. Broil in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until flaky.
  5. Enjoy with a side of veggies and you are set to experience salmon in a whole new way!
